Poison Spyder customs Jeep Wrangler body armor kits are standard equipment for JK models that are venturing into off road situations where body damage is eminent.
Wrangler JK armor kits are manufactured from 3/16" high pressure steel plate and fastened to the body with stainless countersunk hardware. Armor is available in powder coat black or bare steel. Drilling of the body is required.
Armor works as a stand alone component or can be utilized in combination with the Poison Spyder JK rocker protection the " Rocker knocker ", as shown here. These two armor components must be acquired separately, and mount independent of each other. Spyder JK armor also works in compliance with factory Rubicon rocker protection and most known after market rockers.

Poison Spyder customs offers a rubber liner to isolate the armor from your Jeeps paint and body. Although the body armor can be mounted independently of the liner, this additional component adds protection from debris collecting between the body and steel protection. Liner is water jet cut to conform neatly behind your outer armor, no cutting or trimming is required. Body armor liner is sold separately and does not automatically come with armor kits. Liner displayed here shows rubber bolted to the body prior to body armor being mounted, upon instillation the armor and liner would be bolted on using the same hardware.
