Poison Spyder Fuel Tank Skid for Jeep TJ and LJ Unlimited is a quick and easy insurance policy! Located less than 1/4" from the bottom of your Jeep's plastic fuel tank is the fuel sending unit (this is that part that pulls the fuel to the fuel lines). Such a vulnerable area should be fully protected from trail obstacles, and the Poison Spyder Fuel Tank Skid does just that.

The Skid is CNC laser cut from 3/16" plate steel and precision brake-formed for consistent quality. The Skid comes powder-coated satin black for great looks and long-lasting resistance against corrosion.

The Poison Spyder Fuel Tank Skid is designed to slip over your factory tank without removal of either the tank or the factory skid. Average install time for the Fuel Tank Skid is only one hour. The front portion of the Fuel Tank Skid features a recessed area to allow clearance for larger than stock axles or for axles that have been pushed back (up to 1") from the stock location. The Poison Spyder Fuel Tank Skid is designed to work with TJ's and LJ's with at least 2" of lift. No welding is required for installation.
